Role location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose: As the Manager MENA Marketing, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of regional marketing strategies and on-ground execution for the Esports World Cup (EWC) and Esports Nations Cup (ENC). The role combines strategic planning with hands-on activation, ensuring campaigns, events, and brand experiences are locally relevant and executed to the standards of a major global entertainment property. It requires strong regional expertise and proven experience managing large-scale campaigns across the MENA region.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning:

  • Lead the development of end-to-end, regionally driven marketing strategies for EWC and ENC.

  • Translate strategic goals into actionable plans with defined audiences, messaging frameworks, deliverables, and KPIs.

  • Use market insights, audience data, and trend analysis to shape and optimize campaign direction.

  • Localize global campaign concepts to meet cultural and market needs across the MENA region.

  • Align campaign plans with tournament schedules, partnerships, platform opportunities, and regional priorities.

Execution & Delivery:

  • Oversee full campaign execution from briefing to launch, ensuring delivery of all milestones and assets.

  • Manage on-ground activations, live event marketing, outdoor placements, and brand experiences.

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with creative, media, social, PR, influencer, product, and event teams.

  • Manage agencies and vendors, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to brand guidelines.

  • Support production shoots, esports content creation, talent engagements, and experiential activations.

  • Ensure consistent, high-quality brand presence across digital, social, outdoor, broadcast, and physical touchpoints.

Reporting & Optimization:

  • Track performance across all regional marketing activities and optimize campaigns based on KPIs.

  • Present performance summaries and regional updates to leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Partner with the data team to evaluate results and derive insights.

  • Prepare post-campaign evaluations with learnings, ROI, and recommendations for future regional planning.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, Business, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

  • 6+ years of marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven track record leading marketing for large-scale entertainment, cultural, sports, or major live event initiatives in the MENA region.

  • Experience delivering multi-channel campaigns across digital, social, outdoor, PR, influencer, and experiential marketing.

  • Experience managing on-ground activations and large event environments.

  • Strong ability to work with regional agencies, production partners, and cross-functional teams

  • Strong capability in developing integrated marketing strategies and regional campaign plans.

  • Deep understanding of MENA audiences, youth culture, gaming behavior, and regional market dynamics, leveraging strong cultural awareness and market knowledge of Saudi Arabia.

  • Skilled in managing brand presence across digital, social, outdoor, broadcast, and experiential channels.

  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-channel campaigns and on-ground activations.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with a high attention to detail.

  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, and production partners.

  • Ability to oversee live event marketing, talent engagements, and experiential activities.

  • Ability to track KPIs, interpret performance data, and apply insights to optimize campaigns.

  • Comfortable using reporting tools and collaborating with analytics teams.

  • Strong documentation, planning, and process governance capabilities.

  • Clear and confident communicator with strong storytelling and presentation skills.

  • Effective at working within fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

  • Skilled in building relationships across internal teams, agencies, and external partners.

  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
